Reliability Assessment of Conventional Isolated PWM DC-DC Converters

This paper sets forth the reliability analysis of conventional isolated pulse width modulation DC-DC (IDC-DC) converters. The IDC-DC converters are categorized into single-switch (ISSDC-DC) or multiple-switch (IMSDC-DC) proposed framework encompasses analyzing impacts duty cycle, input voltage, output power, transformer turns ratio, components characteristics and time duration on overall performance suggested assessment is centered Markov models characterized by taking consideration all open short circuit faults in both continuous discontinuous conduction modes. We further investigate self-embedded fault tolerant capability IMSDC-DC under scenarios switches, diodes blocking capacitors, where we offer new analytics.
